After a lovely few days at home, it is time to pack up again and set off for the next chapter in Rosie’s journey.
The beaming smile across Rosie’s face as she left GOSH was lovely to see, as was the excitement on show when she got into a car for the first time in 8 months. Rosie clearly knew that she was heading home!
Rosie arrived home to a lovely welcome from her big brother and sister. She loved being back home; her bedroom, toys and visitors. Thank you to everyone who has sent cards, gifts and well wishes, we can’t thank you all enough for your continued support.
Rosie had her second biopsy before leaving GOSH to check for any rejection of the transplanted heart. Thankfully the result has come back showing zero rejection, a huge relief. Thank you to organ donation and Rosie’s perfect new heart.
So now it’s on to a new chapter as we travel to Tadworth, The Children’s Trust in Surrey for a minimum of four months intensive neuro rehabilitation.
Thank you all so much for following Rosie’s journey, we will continue to post updates from Tadworth
