Andrew’s Everest Base Camp Trek

As Rosie prepares to climb her next mountain in the shape of rehab at Tadworth, her next door neighbour is preparing to face a climb of his own to raise awareness of the importance of organ donation.

Rosie’s long and complicated wait for her gift of life has left her with a daunting schedule of rehab to try and combat the neurological and muscular conditions that she has accumulated along the way. With greater awareness being spread of the importance of becoming an organ donor, we can help to reduce the waiting time that little ones just like Rosie will have to face in the future.

Rosie knows her next door neighbour as ‘Stinky Andrew’, a man who never fails to raise a smile from her and who was there in her darkest hour running to the local pub and back to collect a defibrillator unit to aid her recovery from a cardiac arrest.

Inspired by the challenge now facing Rosie, Andrew is taking on an epic challenge of his own and will be climbing 5,545m up to the Everest Base Camp on 15th October 2016.

Andrew has a justgiving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/andrew-stallard1 which he is asking as many people to share as possible to raise awareness of organ donation.

Rosie wishes you the very best of luck Stinky, and can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for her.
